Katie trained at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, graduating with a BA Honours in Acting, and having represented the college in the Sondheim Society Student Performer of the Year competition.

During her training Katie appeared as Millie in Picnic, Celia in As You Like It, Ellie/Tina/Linda in Howard Katz, Bonnie in Bonnie and Clyde, and Helen Hawkins in Love on the Dole. 

Her screen work includes 10 Steps to Murder for First Look TV/Quest Red, and Rachel in short film The Visitor.

Further stage work includes Bet in Oliver! for Captivate Theatre/Edinburgh Fringe and the title role in Cinderella for Outside the Box Productions.
