Simon has worked extensively across stage and screen, and can most recently be seen as Marcus in Beyond Paradise for the BBC.
His television credits include DI Ray (ITV), Man Like Mobeen (BBC 3), Dad in The Break (BBC), Murdered By My Father (BBC), No Offence (C4), Midsomer Murders (ITV), The Break (BBC) and the hard-hitting character of Daddy in the BBC’s BAFTA-winning three part drama, Three Girls.
On stage Simon’s credits include Imran Pervaiz in a new adaptation of Moliere’s Tartuffe (RSC and Birmingham Rep), George in East Is East (UK Tour), Dogberry in Much Ado About Nothing (RSC), Comminius/Aufidius in Coriolanus (Duke’s Theatre), Alexas in Anthony and Cleopatra (RSC), and Jivaj Bhatt in Rafta Rafta (National Theatre) amongst others.
Film credits include Len in feature film Love Without Walls, Uncle Hamid in Sky Peals (Film 4), and Jivaj Bhatt in Rafta Rafta (Left Bank Pictures).
Simon was nominated for Best Actor at the ACTA Eastern Eye Awards for his role as Imran Pervaiz in Tartuffe (RSC).
