Peter trained at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, and has had a career as both an actor and director.
He can most recently be seen in feature film Executioner in which he stars as Robert Marlowe as well as having directed it.
His screen credits include Basil in Doctor Who (BBC), Stan in Casualty (BBC), Geoff King in feature Rise of the Foot Soldier (Universal), Derek in 100 Days of UKIP (Channel 4), Major Heathcliffe in feature Skulls (Porcelain Films), Sgt Harris in Chucklevision (BBC), Mr Sorkin in Eastenders (BBC), Pinkley in A Touch of Frost (Yorkshire Television), and Gracchus in I Claudius (BBC), amongst many others.
Peter has had an extensive stage career, with highlights including Rupert in Men of Letters (BAC), Antonio in The Tempest (The Horse Hospital, London), Brains in The Witty Fair One (The Globe), William in As You Like It (Wimbledon Theatre), Malvolio in Twelfth Night (UK Tour), Figs in The Criminal Prosecution & Capital Punishment of Animals (Lyric Hammersmith), Governor in The Hard Man (Donmar Warehouse), Ilthamore in The Jew of Malta (Donmar Warehouse), Ascyltus in Satyricon (Phoenix Theatre, West End and Broadway transfer), and Pekoe in Aladdin (Bristol Old Vic), amongst others.
In addition, Peter has worked in radio for the BBC.
