

Marcus is an award winning actor who trained at Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
He is known for playing series regular Xavier Duval in Holby City, and he won the Ian Charleson Award Commendation for his role as Laertes in Hamlet at the RSC. He also won best supporting actor at the British Independent Film Festival for his role as Aki Adebola in feature film Unhallowed Ground (Aviary Films).
His professional debut was as Conrad in Much Ado About Nothing (Shakespeare’s Globe) and other stage credits include King of France in King Lear (RSC), Cloten in Cymbeline (RSC), Roseilli in Love’s Sacrifice (RSC), Commandatori in Volpone (RSC), Calymath in The Jew of Malta (RSC), Greene in Richard II (RSC), Marullus/Octavius’ Servant/Pindarus/Publius in Julius Ceasar (RSC), Adam in The Globe Mysteries (Shakespeare’s Globe) and Count D’Alvarez in The Cardinal (Southwark Playhouse).
On screen, Marcus can be seen as Marcus X in Endeavour (ITV), Michael Nelson in Father Brown (BBC), Prince Annaba in Versailles (Canal+), Marullus in Julius Ceasar (RSC/Illuminations), Donovan in Skins (BBC), The Colleague in The C Word (BBC).
He has also taken part in workshops and R&D for The National Theatre, The RSC and Netflix.
