

Ryan is a British/German stage and screen actor who trained at Drama Centre London.
He can currently be seen on screen in the second series of Maxton Hall (Prime Video), and will be seen as the co-lead in upcoming feature Entropy (Amazon Prime US). He is currently touring internationally in Mehmet Ergen and National Theatre Germany’s production of Lowest of the Low, which will come to London in 2026.
Ryan’s screen credits include Hilton Wexler in The Queen’s Gambit (Netflix), Duwayne Ackeret in Control alongside James McAvoy (StudioCanal), Spencer starring Kristen Stewart, Abschussfahrt (Constantin Films), Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin (peacock US), Trautmann (Zephyr Films). He has appeared in many guest and episodic leads across major German broadcasters including ZDF, ARD and WDR. In 2018 Ryan joined the fast paced Berlin hit theatre sitcom Good Wedding, Bad Wedding, where he has also written and directed six new episdoes.
He began his career on stage in London, appearing in numerous productions at the Arcola Theatre, including Shrapnel, Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard and Clarion alongside Greg Hicks and Clare Higgins.
Ryan also works extensively as a voiceover artist, and can be seen in numerous short films, including appearing opposite Jason Watkins, Alex Macqueen and Julian Rhind-Tutt.
