Steven O’Neill stars as Chris Murphy in Noise.
Noise, directed by Ollie Watts, explores the abuse of language and the injustice of abused power. A conductor sees a problem with a piece of music they are about to conduct. The composer combats this by relying on nonsense metaphors that, after many years of great success, he doesn’t think twice about. An argument seemingly very specific actually tackles a conversation seen in everyday life – the nonsense the ‘strongman’ deploys to get his way
Noise will enter the festival circuit later this year.
