Shani is an Israeli actress who trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
She is known for playing series lead Admiral Meredith Lucas in Pandora (CW), as well as her work in theatre.
Her stage credits include Shylock in The Merchant of Venice (RSC), Titania in Midsummer Night’s Dream (The Southbank Centre), Olivia in Twelfth Night (The Minack), and Orestes (Southward Playhouse) among many others.
Screen credits include Mrs Fineberg in The Little Drummer Girl (BBC), Ruth in Silent Witness (BBC), Ma’or in The Honourable Woman (BBC) and in feature American Assassin (CBS/Lionsgate).
For Radio, she can most recently be heard as Miriam in Miriam and Youssef (BBC Worldwide).
Shani also writes and directs for theatre.
