Sartaj is known for his work across screen and stage.
He can currently be seen as Abdul Himawan in feature Hell In Paradise, and as the lead Sadhan Babu in animation Suspicions (Sony India).
TV credits include semi-reg Abid Anwar in Doctors (BBC), DCI Jackson in The Gold (BBC), Paul Weathers in This Country (BBC), Dr Govinder Purewal in Eastenders (BBC) and series-reg Jasper Choudhury in House of Anubis (Nickelodeon), with film credits including Wasteland, Men In Black International, Perfect Skin, Desi Boyz, and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
Sartaj’s theatre credits include Life of Pi (RSC), Behind The Beautiful Forevers (National Theatre), Zindabad (The Gate Theatre), Pink Sari Revolution (National Theatre), Wipers (Leicester Curve/UK Tour), as well as productions as the Lyric Hammersmith, Arcola Theatre, Finborough Theatre, Southwark Playhouse, New Vic Theatre, Manchester Royal Exchange and Royal Court.
He is also a sought after voiceover artist, having worked extensively with the BBC, audible and on other projects.
