What would happen if we were to begin to put care at the very centre of life?
WHO CARES 2032 is a new virtual site-specific theatre production co-created by Jem Wall and his company Hydrocracker in partnership with Royal & Derngate and Deafconnect.
This project is an interactive solo digital experience with film, audio, narration, integrated BSL, SSE and audio description. It will invite audiences on a digital journey imagining how we remade a world with care at its centre. Anna is a junior doctor with frontline experience of caring for people. If anyone knows about care, it’s Anna. But Anna has a problem. She’s dead. She’s inside your computer- a ghost in your machine who can take you into the future…
It’s 2032. The Connect App has changed everything. It could be the answer to the social care crisis. Anna is not so sure. She needs to talk to you about it. She needs your help.
Hydrocracker bring their trademark curiosity about the future and our own roles in creating it, with a new work that starts with you.
