Jem is a stage and screen actor and the Artistic Director/Founder of Hydrocracker Theatre Company.
He can currently be seen in Steve McQueen’s Blitz (Apple TV) as well as in Star Wars: Andor (Disney+).
Screen highlights include Royal Kill List (Sky), Bloodyminded (Channel 4), Game of Thrones (HBO), series regular Andy Henderson in Eastenders (BBC), Wolf Hall (BBC), Doctors (BBC), as well as in features My Week With Marilyn (Studio Canal), Wild Target (Magic Light Films) and Incendiary (Channel 4 Films).
Jem’s stage credits include a season at the RSC (productions including Great Expectations & Richard VIII), The Sea (Theatre Royal Haymarket), The Tempest (USA Tour), A Month in the Country (Chichester Festival Theatre), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (The Globe) as well as productions at The National Theatre, The Old Vic, Liverpool Everyman Theatre, The Bush, Hampstead Theatre and Salisbury Playhouse.
With his company Hydrocraker, Jem has appeared in feature film Mish + Graham, Operation Black Antler (Barbican), The New World Order (Barbican), and The Erpingham Camp (Brighton Festival).
