Joan is a Northern actress and voice over artist who has a great deal of experience across screen and stage.
Her screen credits include This England (Sky Atlantic), Coronation Street (ITV), Doctors (BBC), Birds of a Feather (ITV), Why We Went to War (Channel 4), Kiss Me Kate (BBC), City Central (BBC) and feature films Smog and Blood Moon.
Joan’s stage highlights include Macbeth (The Globe), The Tide (Soho Theatre), Mamma Mia (International Tour), The History Boys (National Theatre), Paper Thin (UK Tour), and The Banyan Tree (Soho Theatre).
Joan is a prolific voice over artist with extensive experience working with BBC radio, and can also be hear in Audible’s Harry Potter: A History of Magic.
