Ryan is a British/German stage and screen actor who trained at Drama Centre London.
He can currently be seen in season 2 of Maxton Hall (Prime Video), and will be seen as the co-lead in upcoming feature Entropy (Amazon Prime US). He is currently on the international tour of Lowest of the Low (National Theatre Germany) which is coming to London in 2026.
Ryan’s screen credits include Hilton Wexler in The Queen’s Gambit (Netflix), Duwayne Ackeret in Control (StudioCanal), Steven’s Knight’s Spencer (FilmNation Entertainment), Abschussfahrt (Constantin Films), Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin (Peacock), Trautmann (Zephyr Films), as well as guest and lead roles across major German broadcasters including ZDF, ARD and WDR.
Stage credits in England include productions at The Barbican, Southwark Playhouse, The Park, The Arcola, Hampstead Theatre, and Riverside Studios among others.
In 2018 Ryan joined the fast paced Berlin hit theatre sitcom Good Wedding, Bad Wedding, where he has also written and directed six episodes.
